Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann reportedly wants to leave the club, with Manchester United at the front of the queue to sign him.
That is according to Spanish outlet Sport , who claim the French forward reportedly wants to leave Atletico just months after dramatically announcing his desire to stay at the club in the wake of interest from Barcelona.
Atletico have been knocked out of the Champions League – by Cristiano Ronaldo’s Juventus – and are ten points behind leaders Barca in La Liga.
That, and potential exits for Lucas Hernandez and Diego Godin, have prompted Griezmann to consider his future at the Wanda Metropolitano, the report says.
United, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain are all mentioned as potential destinations for the former Real Sociedad forward.
Meanwhile, Raphael Varane is another French international considering his future, according to reports in France.
United have been keen on Varane for the best part of a decade and looked set to sign him before Real Madrid swooped in to snatch him from Lille in 2011.
The Reds would be prepared to pay £100million for a defender of his quality, according to L’Equipe
